A talkSPORT caller has said that Manchester United's Scott McTominay is world class and will be as influential to United as Roy Keane.
McTominay has played every Premier League game for United this season and has become a key man under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
But a talkSPORT caller has expressed his admiration for the 22-year-old and said he is already world class
The caller told Andy Goldstein on talkSPORT's Drive show;

"McTominay is going to be a future captain and he is world class. He gives his all."
Goldstein interjected and joked that the academy is only a world class cheerleader at the moment.
The caller continued by stating how important he thinks McTominay can become in the future.
"I think McTominay has the ability to be as influential in our midfield and captain role as Roy Keane was during the 1990s and 2000s.

"The way he has played for the last two months are the most excited I have been about a homegrown, young midfielder.
"The passion he shows in his celebrations, when I am watching as a fan, that is what is dying in football.
"What matters to fans is seeing your players on the pitch giving their all.

"What goes a long way is seeing someone give their all to the club, and McTominay has got that - which you can't teach."
It's a very bold opinion to have considering this is only his third full season in United's squad.
Keane has gone down as a Manchester United legend and he won it all in his twelve year stint at Old Trafford.

The success came while he was captaining the club which came to an end following his controversial departure in 2005.
He was also renowned for his passion and drive while on the pitch and was an infamously confrontational individual.
McTominay clearly has the enthusiasm to play for 'The Red Devils' as it was revealed recently that he has covered the most ground out of the United squad this season.

He was stretchered off during United's last game against Brighton and he's missed Scotland's Euro 2020 qualifiers earlier this week.
It will be interesting to see how badly he's missed in midfield.
He has previously shown to be a leader on the pitch after organising his side's defence against Chelsea in the Carabao Cup.
United's current captain is Ashley Young but you have to think Solskjaer will be lining up a younger replacement in the coming seasons.
Perhaps McTominay could be one of the names on his shortlist.
But the claims that he is world class are certainly audacious and only time will tell if he becomes as iconic as Keane.
