Fikayo Tomori has been offered a bizarre role paying £215,000 by an adult cam site after being left out of Gareth Southgate's England World Cup squad.

Southgate announced his 26-man squad for the showpiece in Qatar on Thursday and one of the main talking points was the omission of AC Milan defender Tomori.

Harry Maguire, Conor Coady, Ben White, John Stones and Eric Dier are the centre-backs chosen by Southgate, with Serie A winner Tomori a little hard done by.

Explaining his decision, Southgate said: "We don't think the young ones [centre-backs] have done quite enough to push the older ones out.

“Yes, I’m sure Harry Maguire is one of our best centre-backs.”

Tomori not being on the plane has caused a stir amongst fans but he has had a surprise opportunity presented to him by StripChat.

Max Bennett, the adult site's vice president, wrote a letter to the Chelsea academy product that was released online.

Although it wrongly said he was left out of "England's 2024 World Cup roster", the company want Tomori to be a "special World Cup pundit" for all 64 games and are willing to offer him a six-figure fee, as well as "unlimited tokens" that can be used on private cam sessions with "beautiful models".

The letter read: "Dear Fikayo Tomori, I wanted to extend my condolences for not being named to England’s 2024 World Cup roster. While the 26-man squid [sic] heads to Qatar for the World Cup, you’ll be back home in England watching on the television.

"I believe there is a unique opportunity for you to work with StripChat as our special World Cup pundit (kick rocks Neville and Carragher). While you watch the games from home you can simultaneously broadcast yourself on StripChat to our global audience and provide match commentary and instant analysis.

In return for your role as StripChat’s “World Cup Commentator,” and live broadcasting yourself watching all 64 games we’d be willing to compensate you up to $250,000 in addition to providing you with unlimited tokens (currency on StripChat) to…uplift your spirits…by interacting with any of our thousands of beautiful models via private cam session. You can also reward your chosen MVP with free private sessions after each game.

"This way you can support your teammates even while being home. Take some time to consider my offer. I look forward to hopefully working with you!"

Something tells us Tomori won't be accepting the offer and will instead just watch the tournament as a viewer while in Milan with his club colleagues.

Stripchat have made headlines in football before, having expressed their interest in purchasing the naming rights for Everton's new £500 million stadium.

They "officially extended" a $200 million offer for the ground to be called the "Stripchat Sustainability Stadium".
