Erling Haaland has had an incredible transformation since joining Man City

Haaland has been at City for a year but he's done a lot in the past 52 weeks both on and off the pitch based on his physique.

Erling Haaland has had the most ridiculous year of any footballer and fans can't believe the transformation he's undergone since joining Manchester City.

It was exactly one year ago that City put out the official video welcoming the Norwegian striker to the club following his move from Borussia Dortmund.

Having blown through the Austrian and German Bundesligas before arriving in the Premier League there was plenty of debate about just how well he'd do.

Some believe it insulting to the likes of Harry Kane and Mohamed Salah that he'd end up as top scorer, in the end he ended up breaking the record for the that accolade.

The amazing numbers that he's produced in his debut campaign in England has had some very average strikers claiming they'd score 30 goals if they played for City.

That's not the case at all and instead it has taken a quite remarkable 22-year-old to break Alan Shearer and Andy Cole's record for most goals in a season, not that Cole cares.

Early in the season some were arguing that despite the former Molde forward banging in the goals the team as a whole were better without him.

By the end of the campaign he'd transformed his style of play to make himself an extremely important part of how Pep Guardiola's side function.

But that wasn't his only transformation, with fans unable to believe just how much his physique has changed since arriving at the Etihad Stadium.

"I'm still tryna wrap my head around the transformation. Even Akanji, look at him! Did they train specifically for the end of the season?", one fan wondered.

"Peps bringing that Bayren strength and conditioning," added a second.

Comparing the striker to one of Pep's former players, a third said: "Pep transforms players into demons look at Joshua Kimmich before and after Pep too."

"Bro is a monster," a fourth put it.

"He ate his veggies," joked another.

And one fan summed it up best simply stating, "Daaaaaamn!"
