Erik ten Hag celebrated winning the Carabao Cup by dancing with Manchester United duo Lisandro Martinez and Antony, and fans loved it.

At the first time of asking Ten Hag won silverware with United, just seven months after taking the job, ending a six year trophy drought at the club.

There was huge pressure on United, as favourites to beat Eddie Howe's side, and they handled the match to perfection, even if they did give up a lot of possession.

Luke Shaw's opener, and an own goal from Sven Botman, gave the Old Trafford outlet a two goal half time lead, but they still needed their manager at his best to secure the win.

First of all, the manager took off Diogo Dalot at half time and brought on Aaron Wan-Bissaka, the former Crystal Palace defender has been revitalised in recent weeks.

His introduction slowed down Allan Saint-Maximin, who had been Newcastle's biggest threat in the first half, and helped keep control at the back.

Marcel Sabitzer's arrival as a second half substitute also helped wrestle back the midfield battle, which their opponents were starting to win.

And after the match, Ten Hag revelled in his brilliance by dancing with Martinez and Antony, two players who followed him from Ajax to Manchester last summer.

"I love these guys. Thank You Ajax," one fan said, probably not quite taking into account how much the Dutch side will be hating life after their stars left.

"Vibes are back at Old Trafford," added a second fan.

The trio danced after winning the Eredivisie last season, and one supporter noted that, saying, "I have seen this before somewhere and it has finally happened at my darling club, I can sense it first of many."

"I’ve got my happiness back," posted one long suffering fan.

A fifth joked, "Dude quenching Brazil-Argentina rivalry like no other."

"TEN HAG ANTONY AND LICHA DOING THE DANCE," shouted another.

The addition of Martinez in the summer was questioned by pundits, due to his height as a centre back, but he has proved that to be utter nonsense.

The World Cup winner has been excellent, especially alongside Raphael Varane, and showed they're the centre back pairing the team needed.

Antony has also proved people wrong who thought he was just a trick pony, scoring an extremely important goal against Barcelona in midweek.

At this point, there won't be many people questioning Ten Hag's decisions again, even if they are questioning some of his dance moves.
