Jeff Stelling demands Thomas Tuchel 'explain' two decisions he's made as England manager so far and it's gone viral

Not all of Tuchel's England decisions went down well during wins over Albania and Latvia.

Thomas Tuchel should 'explain' two decisions he's already made as England manager, according to Jeff Stelling.

Tuchel has won both of his opening games in charge of the Three Lions, against Albania and Latvia.

England did not concede a goal in either game and looked to have more intensity in attack compared to the setup utilised by Tuchel's predecessor, Gareth Southgate.

Myles Lewis-Skelly, Dan Burn and Morgan Rogers were all given England debuts, with Lewis-Skelly scoring in the 2-0 win over Albania.

There were recalls to the national setup for Jordan Henderson, Marcus Rashford and Reece James, while captain Harry Kane scored in both matches.

While Tuchel's opening games in charge have received praise, talkSPORT host Stelling believes that not every decision made by the German was necessarily the correct one.

Taking to Twitter, Stelling wrote: "So Thomas Tuchel. Two wins out of two. But please explain - and I am not a Forest fan - why Morgan Gibbs-White got zero minutes. Ditto Dominic Solanke?"

Nottingham Forest midfielder Gibbs-White wasn't included in Tuchel's initial squad selection, being added in as a late replacement for the injured Cole Palmer.

He was left out of the squad for the win over Albania, before being an unused substitute against Latvia on Monday.

Solanke, meanwhile, has not had regular minutes for Spurs in recent months due to injury but was fit enough to be picked by Tuchel.

Fans largely agreed with Stelling's post, particularly on Gibbs-White.

One wrote: "Perfect opportunity to see MGW get a run out with no pressure and the game clearly won. I'm so disappointed for him."

Another said: "What more are you going to learn about Kyle Walker or Jordan Henderson by giving them 10 minutes?!?

"How MGW hasn't even managed to get on the pitch, given how good he has been this season, is shocking," another fumed.

And a fourth asked: "And why [didn't] Callum Hudson-Odoi even get picked?"
