Jack Grealish Responds After Another Tuchel England Snub

Jack Grealish was not included in Thomas Tuchel's latest England squad but it did not take long for him to respond.

Jack Grealish has reacted after being left out of Thomas Tuchel's England squad yet again.

England take on Wales and Latvia in their next two fixtures during the upcoming international break - with the latter game giving The Three Lions the chance to move a step closer to qualification for next summer's World Cup in North America.

Tuchel's squad was announced on Friday and sees the return of Bukayo Saka, with Arsenal teammate Noni Madueke and Newcastle defender Tino Livramento out through injury.

However, there is no place for England's 2024 Player of the Year Jude Bellingham due to his lack of minutes at Real Madrid after recovering from shoulder surgery.

In addition, neither Grealish, Adam Wharton or Phil Foden have earned recalls despite their impressive displays in the new campaign.

Grealish has been a huge hit at Everton, already becoming the team's chief creator for David Moyes' men.

After his omission was confirmed, the club's official X account retweeted a graphic from Wednesday showing Grealish leading the stats charts this term.

The former Aston Villa captain has created the most chances in the Premier League in 2025/26 with 17 - one ahead of Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes.

And shortly after the graphic was highlighted on social media, August's Premier League Player of the Month reshared Everton's post on the stat on Instagram - complete with highlights of his best bits.

Tuchel explains Grealish snub

Grealish's last appearance for England was nearly a year ago against Finland in the Nations League, scoring in a 3-1 win.

The 30-year-old has spoken about wanting to be back representing his country at major tournaments and despite his omission, Tuchel praised Grealish's return to form.

Speaking in a press conference, Tuchel said: "Jack is very close to be the best version of himself, a very special player, a very special character."

That being said, Tuchel claimed he and his staff elected to "keep with the straightforward decision of inviting the same group" from the last camp.

Saka coming in for the injured Madueke is the only change from the last squad, with Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Jarell Quansah named after coming in as late replacements last time out.

England take on Wales in a charity friendly at Wembley on Thursday October 9, before travelling to Riga, Latvia, for a World Cup qualifier on 14 October.
