England fans think the Three Lions will go the distance at the European Championships for one reason - Jude Bellingham.

England made it 19 games unbeaten at Wembley as they dispatched Italy 3-1 to top their group and qualify for next summer's European Championships in Germany.

While a brilliant Harry Kane brace and Marcus Rashford goal saw England claim the win, Bellingham was the star of the show.

The Real Madrid midfielder played a central role in England's opener, driving into the Italy box only to be tripped by Giovanni Di Lorenzo. Harry Kane netted the subsequent penalty to level proceedings.

Then, Bellingham inspired England to a second. The ex-Borussia Dortmund star dispossessed an Italy player on the edge of the England box, with the loose ball picked up by Phil Foden, who passed the ball back to Bellingham.

The midfielder then flicked the ball beyond an onrushing defender with his first touch before galloping towards the Italy goal and feeding Marcus Rashford, who waltzed inside and shot into the bottom corner.

Bellingham was then substituted off in the 84th minute to a standing ovation, with England fans excited by the side's prospects with Bellingham in the team.

One person wrote on X, the social media platform formally known as Twitter: "Jude Bellingham will win England the euros in 2024. Take the p*** all you want. Bookmark it all you want. We will be there".

Another wrote: "Kane x Bellingham will cook soo hard in Euro 2024."

A third said: "I’m just putting this on record now but I think England will win #EURO2024 next summer. I think Bellingham is probably the most complete player under 21, certainly in #Europe and I think he will give us the edge. There, I said it."
