Darwin Nunez has left Liverpool fans stunned with his remarkable physique ahead of the new season.

Nunez is cutting no corners and putting in the work ahead of linking up with his Liverpool teammates for the 2022/23 campaign.

He's excited Liverpool fans by showing off his tremendous condition on social media.

The 23-year-old shared a topless picture of himself from a gym, accompanied with the caption: "No day off."

Nunez's impressive shape got Liverpool supporters online talking.

One Twitter user wrote: "What a specimen."

A second tweeted: "What kind of Greek god sh*t is this."

A third added: "He's a bit ripped isn't he f**king hell."

A fourth commented: "40 goal season incoming. The Premier League ain't ready."

Nunez alerted Europe's elite clubs following a prolific campaign for Benfica last season.

He scored an impressive 34 goals in 41 games across all competitions.

Manchester United had expressed an interest in the star forward until Liverpool struck a deal with Benfica.

The Uruguayan replaces the void left by Sadio Mane, who signed for Bayern Munich.

The Liverpool new boy is looking forward to playing alongside the likes of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino, Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota.

"Hugely excited. Like I said before, there are some top, top players here with great qualities," he told the club's website.

"There is Firmino, who's a great player; and then Jota, who is another great striker; Luis Diaz, Salah. To play alongside these 'monsters' is going to be something really special for me because as a kid you dream of going far and I dreamt of being able to play in Europe but I didn't expect to get as far as a great club like Liverpool.

"I can tell you, I'm really enjoying it so far and enjoying being here with my partner. If my partner is happy, I am happier because your family is fundamental.

"So, there'll be a lot of competition between the forwards here but it will be healthy competition. We're all here to help each other out so everything goes well for everybody."
