A new club has joined the race to sign Darwin Nunez as his future has taken a stunning twist.
Nunez moved to Saudi Arabia in the summer, signing for Al Hilal in a deal worth up to £56.6 million.
He had been at Liverpool for three seasons following his transfer from Benfica in a £64 million move.
Nunez found life tough in the Premier League, having scored just 25 goals in 95 games.

But the 26-year-old has been prolific in Saudi Arabia, scoring five goals in 11 matches amid an injury-hit spell.
He has struggled with injuries, including knee issues.
Despite scoring goals for Al Hilal, a move away from the Middle East has been reported as he looks to seek a transfer when the window reopens in January.
River Plate have been offered the chance to sign Nunez, according to a report in Argentina.

Per the report, it has been made clear that Fenerbahce won't be be able to match Nunez's current salary at Al Hilal.
He's believed to be earning a whopping £400,000-a-week.

However, there is an option to use proceeds from sales or getting Al Hilal to pay a portion of his wages if a loan deal can be agreed.

A switch to Fenerbahce appears to be a realistic option given Nunez has already 'gathered information' on the club.
He is understood to have spoken to Al Hilal teammate Yusuf Akcicek, who joined from Fenerbahce, and fellow countryman Diego Lugano, who played five seasons at the club during his career.
Ex-Aston Villa star Jhon Duran made the move to Fenerbahce in the summer, having signed a season-long loan deal from Al Nassr.
Fenerbahce manager Domenico Tedesco currently has the likes of Youssef En-Nesyri, Kerem Akturkoglu and Dorgeles Nene at his disposal in the forward areas.
