Manchester United fans are excited.

Fans are calling Cristiano Ronaldo 'Agent CR7' after he swapped shirts with Manchester United target Pau Torres.

After the final whistle, Torres and Ronaldo shared a moment as they swapped shirts.

Their interaction didn't go unnoticed by Man United fans, who hailed their star man's supposed efforts to bring the highly-rated defender to Old Trafford this summer.

It's not the first time the 37-year-old has been seen talking to a target. He also greeted Matthijs de Ligt following an international fixture before the Dutchman signed for Juventus.

In reaction to Ronaldo swapping shirts with Torres, one Twitter user wrote: "Agent CR7."

A second tweeted: "This is Matthijs De Ligt all over again!"

A third added: "Agent Ronnie get it done."

Another commented: "Damn! What if he gets Torres to Man Utd just like De Ligt to Juventus."

Torres, whose starred for Villarreal in La Liga, has been the subject of intense transfer speculation.

He's thought to be high on Erik ten Hag's transfer wish-list as he plots his rebuild ahead of the new season.

The 25-year-old has alerted Man United following his performances in Spain's top flight and the Champions League.

But he remains coy over suggestions that he could move on this summer.

"I am lucky to be in a club that considers me important, to have a valid contract and an offer to renew. We will see what happens in the future but I am very calm. I look no further," he said via Tutto Mercato Web.

"We have competed with the best teams in Europe. It is what everyone would like to do and succeeding with your hometown team is even greater. I know that I can stay here for many more years because love is mutual."

Torres to Man United? Stay tuned.
