Man Utd players 'want Cristiano Ronaldo gone' before the end of the World Cup

Ronaldo's interview went in on United's manager Erik ten Hag, and his fellow players, and they've reportedly had enough.

Cristiano Ronaldo's Manchester United teammates want him out of the club before the end of the World Cup, following his shocking interview.

Over the past few days, Ronaldo's tell all chat with his good friend on Talk Tv has been all over the news pages for its explosive nature.

The United forward claimed that he felt the club were trying to force him out, in the first teaser for the 90 minute interview, in which he is set to share all his grievances.

Ronaldo said he felt betrayed by Erik ten Hag, for the manager's use of the forward, coming just a week after the 37-year-old's previous misdemeanour of walking out of the game with Tottenham Hotspur had been forgiven, as he was handed the captain's armband for the game with Aston Villa.

On Wednesday night, the first part of the in depth chat aired, with even more juicy details than the trailers had given, with more criticism of United.

This time the five time Ballon d'Or winner went in on his teammates, as well as Ten Hag, only naming Diogo Dalot, Lisandro Martinez and Casemiro as players with enough professionalism.

That's not likely to go down too well in the dressing room at Old Trafford, and, according to the Daily Mail, his colleagues want him out.

The report claims that they don't want to see him return to the club and are hoping they can find a way for him to leave before the end of the World Cup.

The players are believed to feel that the striker has disrespected both them and Ten Hag, rather than the other way round as he claimed.

Ronaldo's latest manager at the club hasn't used him as often as the former Real Madrid star probably wants, only starting him in four Premier League games so far this campaign.

However there certainly seems to have been a method behind that with the team's best performances and results coming without him starting games.

That didn't stop him landing a dig during the first part of the interview, saying, "The new coaches coming around, they think they have found the last Coca Cola in the desert."

Ronaldo has also hit out at previous manager Ralf Rangnick, though he was more complimentary about Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who he previously played with at Old Trafford.

There is expected to be more 'outspoken' views on Ten Hag in the second part of the interview on Thursday night.

There has already been reaction from his fellow players with France defender Raphael Varane having been asked about it whilst on World Cup duty.

The centre back admitted that it has impacted him saying, "Obviously it affects us. We follow what is happening and what is being said.

"We try to calm the situation in our own way, we try not to get too involved in it. What is happening in the media in the big clubs is gaining momentum."

There was also some claims that the interview made have affected the former Juventus striker's relationship with Bruno Fernandes.

That was after footage of the pair meeting up ahead of the World Cup went viral, but that was then rejected as a premise, with claims they were sharing a joke.

The midfielder may not be laughing after hearing he's not actually a 'top professional.'
