Cristiano Ronaldo's new watch collection includes goal against Man Utd

Ronaldo's new collection has been announced conveniently on the day that he's left Man Utd by mutual consent, following his interview.

Cristiano Ronaldo is already trolling Manchester United, on the day his second spell at the club came to an end, with his new watch collection.

Ronaldo put his future at Old Trafford in huge doubt last week, when a controversial interview in which he slammed the club, its owners, players and manager, was aired.

Amongst his criticisms were claims that only three of his teammates were 'professional,' and he said that he was being 'forced' out of the club, despite him trying to leave in the summer.

Following the interview, there were claims that he couldn't carry on as a United player, and that his teammates didn't want him to come back to the club after the World Cup.

Well all parties can now be satisfied that they've got what they wanted, with an announcement on Tuesday confirming that he was leaving the club with immediate effect.

"Cristiano Ronaldo is to leave Manchester United by mutual agreement, with immediate effect," the club said in the official statement.

"The club thanks him for his immense contribution across two spells at Old Trafford, scoring 145 goals in 346 appearances, and wishes him and his family well for the future."

The 37-year-old, who is in Qatar with Portugal, already managed to take one final dig at the Premier League club earlier in the day.

Ronaldo took to social media to post about his new watch collection, which included a goal he scored against United for Real Madrid in the Champions League back in 2013.

"I’m excited to announce my partnership with Jacob and co , one of the leading watch brands in the world," the former Real star wrote on Instagram.

"Today, we reveal our first watch collection that I co-designed with my dear friend Jacob Arabo."

There are two designs that the all time top goalscorer in men's international football was sporting in his post, with one of them showing him celebrating a goal.

The other, controversial one, sees him making a huge leap, as is his signature move, or at least it was, in the last 16 of the 2012/13 Champions League.

In that first leg, at the Bernabeu, Danny Welbeck had given United the lead in the 20th minute, only for Ronaldo to head home the equaliser 10 minutes later.

The Portugal star would go on to score the winner in the tie a week later, at Old Trafford, in what turned out to be Sir Alex Ferguson's last game in charge in a European game.

Ronaldo's next appearance on the pitch will likely come on Thursday, when Portugal face Ghana in their opening game of the World Cup, despite missing the final two United games before the break in the season.

There has been questions about whether or not his interview would affect things with the national team, especially with fellow countryman Bruno Fernandes.

The pair appeared to share a frosty moment last week but it was reportedly just due to them 'sharing' a joke about Fernandes arriving late.
