Cristiano Ronaldo’s latest FIFA rating has taken a huge dive after he completed his move to Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr last week.

After years of dominating at the top of European football, Ronaldo’s time in Europe came to a bitter end after his explosive interview with Piers Morgan last month.

During his interview with Morgan, Ronaldo blasted Manchester United, former manager Ralf Rangnick, current boss Erik ten Hag and also took aim at the likes of Gary Neville and Wayne Rooney.

After his contract was mutually terminated, Ronaldo has now signed with the Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr.

Since his move to the Middle East was confirmed, Ronaldo’s rating on the popular video game, FIFA 23, has taken a hit.

When the game launched back in October, Ronaldo had a rating of 90, which is amongst the top ten players in the world.

However, his rating is now only 88. Three points down from the same time last year. The 37-year-old’s dribbling score went from 84 to 81, whilst his stamina rating dropped from 74 to 70.

This is the first time since FIFA 11 that Ronaldo’s overall rating has dropped below 90.

Ronaldo’s stats will only change on FIFA’s career mode and FIFA Ultimate Team(FUT) cards will not be affected.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner's move to Al-Nassr was criticised by many, but former United teammate Rio Ferdinand has defended the Portugal captain.

He said: “It was great to see David Beckham, Frank Lampard, Wayne Rooney, Steven Gerrard, it was great to see them go to America.

“What a way to finish their careers, getting great money, going to a league that’s not as competitive, they’ve deserved that, they’ve earned the right.

“That’s all I saw in the media. But because it’s Saudi Arabia, it’s a disgrace, it’s sad. Let a man go and live, let a man go and enjoy it. It’s a new adventure. He’s taking his family to experience a new culture.”
