Cristiano Ronaldo reminded everyone what he is capable of once again after scoring a stunning free kick for Al Nassr.

On Saturday, Ronaldo’s Al Nassr side were looking to get their title bid back on track as they faced Abha in the Saudi Professional League.

However, their task was made much harder after Abdel Fatah Adam’s goal in the 26th minute gave the visitors a half time 1-0 lead.

In the second half, with the game seemingly running away from Al Nassr, their main man stepped up.

An absolutely spectacular free kick from Ronaldo dragged his side level with 10 minutes left to play. Ronaldo's shot arrowed into the back of the net leaving the Abha goalkeeper diving in despair.

Fans were quick to react to Ronaldo’s effort.

One said: “NAHHH RONALDO IS BACK COOKING WHAT A FREE KICK.”

Another tweeted: “The greatest there is. The greatest there was. The greatest there ever will be.”

A third fan added: “Cristiano Ronaldo from 35+ yards out, rolling back the years, what a free-kick.”

Someone else wrote: “RONALDO WITH A FREE KICK WHAT A GOAL SIUUUUUUUUUUU.”

Whilst a fifth commented: “OMGGGGGG!!!! CRISTIANO RONALDO WHAT A FREE-KICK YOU GOAT.”

Another fan said: “What a free kick by Cristiano Ronaldo. To this date you can see the dedication and effort he puts in every game to score for his team.

With the game level, Anderson Talisca made it 2-1 to Al Nassr from the penalty spot with just six minutes left to play.

Al Nassr eventually held on to win the game 2-1 as they close the gap between themselves and table-topping Al Ittihad to just one point.

Up next for Al Nassr will be another Saudi Professional League match after the international break, with Al Adalh their next opponents. Ronaldo will now concentrate on Portugal as he looks to help his country win their EURO 2024 qualifiers.
