Conor McGregor says he's exploring TWO other football clubs amid claims he's interested in acquiring Chelsea.

The UFC superstar put his name in the hat to buy Chelsea following Roman Abramovich's shock decision to put the club up for sale due to his links with Russian president Vladimir Putin.

He doubled down on his claims he's interested in buying the European champions by promising to 'push it to the limit' in a hilarious video on social media.

Well, McGregor has continued his supposed pursuit of snapping up the Premier League giants.

Replying to a fan on Twitter, he said: "100%! It is being explored, like I said."

Responding to a report stating that he's about to make a 'formal offer' to buy the Blues, he revealed that he's also 'exploring' Celtic and Manchester United.

He tweeted: "I do not speak in jest. I am exploring this, as I said. Celtic from Dermot Desmond, Manchester United from the Glaziers, and now the recently up for sale Chelsea football club.

"All being explored. A football franchise purchase is in my future make no mistake about it."

It's not the first time the 33-year-old has talked up buying Man United.

Last year, he tweeted: "Hey guys, I’m thinking about buying Manchester United! What do you think?"

So, Chelsea, Celtic and Man United are all on the radar for McGregor, who appears to be lining up an offer ahead of his Octagon return.
