Chelsea are currently playing six players they do not want a combined total of £700,000-per-week.

Thomas Tuchel's side have not enjoyed the best of pre-seasons and slumped to a 4-0 defeat against Arsenal last weekend.

Despite signing Raheem Sterling from Manchester City and Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli, the Blues squad is not a happy one right now.

Tuchel slammed his players for a 'lack of commitment' on their tour of the United States and he knows he has a bloated squad.

The Telegraph have reported he may have to put up with it however as clubs are unwilling to spend big on six players in particular.

Michy Batshuayi, Ross Barkley, Kenedy, Timo Werner, Malang Sarr and Kepa Arrizabalaga are the players in question after failing to impress.

They are all on a significant wage at Stamford Bridge and you can check out a full breakdown below.

Kenedy - £25,000-per-week (until June 2023)

Michy Batshuayi - £69,000-per-week (until June 2023)

Ross Barkley - £96,000-per-week (until June 2023)

Malang Sarr - £120,000-per-week (until June 2025)

Kepa Arrizabalaga - 155,000-per-week (until 2025)

Timo Werner - £272,000-per-week (until 2025)

Kenedy has had five different loan spells since joining Chelsea in 2015 and was a shock starter in the final game of last season against Watford.

He managed to set up Kai Havertz while playing as a wing-back, a position he also played in during last week's game with Charlotte.

Batshuayi, meanwhile, has had the same number of loan spells but not impressed on the tour. Armando Broja's future seems to have been resolved and it means the Belgium international is surplus to requirements.

Ross Barkley featured 14 times in all competitions last campaign but is said to have been offered to former sides Everton and Aston Villa.

Malang Sarr was backup to Antonio Rudiger but struggled and with Koulibaly's arrival, game time could be limited.

Chelsea are said to be exploring a deal for Paris Saint-Germain defender Presnel Kimpembe as it looks like Sevilla star Jules Kounde has chosen to join Barcelona.

Timo Werner was a marquee signing from RB Leipzig in 2020 but has not found his footing in English football.

The Germany international is eager to play more ahead of the World Cup and recently claimed he would be happy 'anywhere', which irked Tuchel.

Finally, Chelsea made Kepa Arrizabalaga the world's most expensive goalkeeper when they signed him in 2018.

A year later he was replaced as number one by Edouard Mendy and remains on the fringes.

Chelsea's first Premier League game is against Everton on August 6.
