Hakim Ziyech's move from Chelsea to Paris Saint-Germain is officially off after an unsuccessful appeal.
On deadline day, the Moroccan international arrived in Paris ahead of a loan move with no option to buy. The deal looked a foregone conclusion, with the two clubs having an agreement and Ziyech passing his medical.
However, the deal was not completed before the deadline after Chelsea reportedly sent the wrong documents to PSG on THREE occasions.
That caused a delay and the deadline passed without registration and validation on the contract from French football governing body LFP (Ligue de Football Professionnel).

It was also claimed that LFP's computer systems crashed, as Ziyech anxiously waited to see if he was getting his move.
The Athletic say a PSG source described the situation as a "Class A circus".
An appeal was lodged and PSG were hopeful of an approval due the technical problems, but it's now been confirmed that the switch is not happening and Ziyech has been left in limbo as a result.

PSG are no doubt furious having allowed Pablo Sarabia to join Wolves without getting a replacement in.
The former Ajax winger has made 10 appearances in the Premier League this term, four of which have been starts.
Wanted by the likes of AC Milan, Roma and RB Leipzig as well as Premier League clubs, Ziyech could now be in danger of being cut from Chelsea's 25-man Champions League squad.

After a mass Ā£323 million splurge in January was completed with the record signing of Enzo Fernandez from Benfica, Graham Potter can only register three of his new additions.
Chelsea signed Ziyech for Ā£33 million in 2020 and he has played 98 times for the club, scoring 14 times.
His last club goal came in March, though he did have a stellar World Cup with Morocco and helped his country reach the semi-finals in an incredible tournament.

Neither Chelsea or PSG have issued an official comment on the matter at the time of writing.
