Wrexham defender hilariously responds to rumours Ryan Reynolds' mum flirts with him

Ben Tozer reveals all following Wrexham's big win over Notts County.

Wrexham defender Ben Tozer has hilariously responded to rumours that Ryan Reynolds' mum flirts with him.

The Welsh club beat nearest rivals Notts County 3-2 on Monday to move three points clear at the top of the National League.

They came from a goal down as Ben Foster produced a dramatic last-gasp penalty save to preserve his side's massive win.

Foster shared a brilliant moment with Reynolds in the tunnel following the result and revealed that Rob McElhenney kissed him fully on the lips.

Tozer called the game an 'emotional rollercoaster' and responded to claims Reynolds' mum flirts with him.

Laura Woods asked the question to which Tozer replied: "She’s not a bad looking woman at 77!"

His response stunned Woods, who laughed before exclaiming 'wow'.

Wrexham have four games left, with promotion to League Two in their own hands following their big win over County.

Reynolds, who was in attendance at The Racecourse Ground alongside McElhenney, expressed his delight at his team's victory.

"When I get my hands on Ben Foster he's going to be on the injured reserve list. I'm going to break ribs I'm going to hug him so hard," he told BT Sport.

"I'm used to working under extreme pressure, but usually I have some kind of control over it.

"I have nothing here, all I can do is watch and hope like everybody else.

"It was a pressure cooker coming into it for both of these teams. What both have achieved is historic on every level and I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like that."

Wrexham resume their league campaign on Saturday when they travel to Barnet.
