Reiss Nelson has sent a four-word message to Eddie Nketiah after he returned to training ahead of Arsenal's Premier League clash against West Ham on the weekend.

Arsenal make the short journey across London to face relegation threatened West Ham on Sunday afternoon, as Mikel Arteta looks to extend his side's lead at the top of the table.

The Gunners played their part in a thrilling 2-2 contest with Liverpool last time out in the league, as Arsenal dropped points for the first time in eight matches.

Meanwhile, West Ham registered a crucial 1-0 win over Fulham as they took one step closer to Premier League safety.

In a boost for Arsenal fans, however, Nketiah has returned to first team training, and Nelson had a short but sweet message for his teammate.

Nelson's message to Nketiah

Nketiah took to Instagram on Tuesday, posting a picture of himself, Bukayo Saka and Nelson in training, accompanied by the caption, 'good to be back out there'.

Nelson reposted the image on his story, writing 'my boys back una', alongside a heart emoji.

Nketiah hasn't featured for Arsenal since the 1st of March, where he sustained an ankle injury during a 4-0 win over Everton.

Prior to his injury, the 23-year-old was pivotal for Arteta, scoring a brace against Manchester United, including a stoppage time winner.

Fortunately for supporters, Gabriel Jesus has returned to fitness following a 3-month spell on the sidelines with a knee problem, and has scored in back-to-back matches against Leeds and Liverpool.

It is too early to say whether Nketiah will be involved against West Ham, although his timely return will help relieve the pressure on Jesus, as Arsenal head enter their final eight games of the season.
