Bukayo Saka has got rid of two Arsenal teammates in FPL team ahead of Man City game

Arsenal face Manchester City in a huge Premier League clash on Wednesday night

Arsenal star Bukayo Saka has transferred out two of his teammates from his Fantasy Premier League team ahead of the crucial clash against Manchester City.

On Wednesday night, league leaders Arsenal will travel to the Etihad Stadium looking to get their title bid back on track.

City meanwhile are hoping to close the gap between themselves and the Gunners to just two points with a victory.

The Premier League title race is really hotting up after Arsenal's recent slip-ups against Liverpool, West Ham and Southampton. City know that if they win all their remaining matches they will successfully defend their crown.

Ahead of the potential title decider, Saka has made some huge changes to his Fantasy Premier League team.

The Gunners’ star has decided to sell teammate Gabriel Martinelli and has replaced him with Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford.

In addition, Saka has left Oleksandr Zinchenko on the bench as he opted for a back three of Pervis Estupinan, Kieran Trippier and Ibrahima Konate.

Saka owns himself in his FPL team and he has placed himself in midfield along with Rashford, Kaoru Mitoma and Mohamed Salah.

The 21-year-old has a front three of Erling Haaland, Alexander Isak and Ollie Watkins, who he captained for the latest game week.

Ahead of Arsenal’s match against City, Gunners boss Mikel Arteta has spoken about the challenge facing his team.

He said: “They’ve been in incredible form but look where we are in the table. That means we’ve been in incredible form as well. That’s why we are where we are.

“It’s going to be a tough night and challenge but the opportunity is incredible for us.”

Arteta continued: “We knew from the beginning, if you want to win a Premier League, you have to go to Spurs and beat them. You have to go to Chelsea and you have to beat them.

“You have to go away from home and win. This is what we’ve been doing. This is why we’re here. Now you have to go to City and you have to beat them.”
