AFTV star Ty heavily criticised by Troy Deeney

Ty became famous for his aggressive ranting about the team he loves but now he's been told to chill by Arsenal's former nemesis.

Troy Deeney has gone in on AFTV star Ty, claiming that he knows members of the Arsenal squad don't like the personality.

There was little else more entertaining in the 'Banter Years' of Arsenal than listening to the select group of fans who made up the AFTV team.

Each ridiculous loss to a team they were expected to beat was followed by one of the guests on the show having a slightly more dramatic meltdown.

Then occasionally from nowhere they'd get really optimistic and predict the Gunners taking over the world, only to get slapped straight back into reality.

Only 18 months ago a huge swathe of other fans of the club voted that the channel was the worst thing to have ever happened to the team.

Since then it's all rather quietened down with Mikel Arteta leading his side to second in the Premier League and supporters having little to moan about.

However Deeney has now given one of the main contributors something to moan about, going after Ty and telling him to chill out.

The striker was talking about the social media personality, real name Taiwo Ogunlabi, on a recent appearance on the Filthy Fellas podcast, and went in on him.

"With the greatest respect, the guy is like 50 years old," Deeney began.

"Always walking around in an Arsenal trackie, no disrespect my guy but you know what I’m saying?," he added, turning to one of the hosts in an Arsenal training top.

"What I’m saying is you live and breathe Arsenal but even Arsenal players think you’re a d******d. Like, they do.

"Because I’ve spoke to them about it. So relax, chill."

Some of the others on the podcast then attempted to defend the man on the wrong end of the firing line, with Deeney responding: "No, I don’t care."

Asked if he'd heard the remarks, Ty said: "No I haven’t.

"Has he had a pop at me? I’d love to splatter him verbally, I’d love to splatter him verbally. Splatter him all over Watford and Birmingham.

"Troy Deeney, if you’re verbally man enough, why don’t you have a go at me on AFTV?

"There’s a seat for you here. I am calling him out, if you’re verbally man enough Troy Deeney, have a go at me on AFTV or DR Sports.

"I’m ready for you any time. Even when I’m sleeping, I’ll still beat you verbally."

Fans of the north London club have previously had their run ins with the former Watford striker after he once claimed the team didn't have any cajones.
