Aaron Ramsdale makes huge error as Southampton score after 27 seconds

Aaron Ramsdale with a moment of madness.

Southampton needed just 27 SECONDS to open the scoring against Arsenal after Aaron Ramsdale made a huge error.

Arsenal, who are currently four points ahead of second-placed Manchester City in the table, got off to the worst possible start on Friday.

The Arsenal goalkeeper misplaced a pass with Carlos Alcaraz pouncing on the loose ball before firing a stunning strike into the back of the net.

The Southampton striker wheeled away in celebration as he performed Cristiano Ronaldo's trademark 'Siuu' gesture.

Needless to say, Ramsdale's moment of madness sent social media wild as some fans believe Arsenal are 'bottling' the Premier League title.

One Twitter user wrote: "Arsenal facing another Bournemouth task."

A second tweeted: "Arsenal are bottling it."

A third added: "The title charge is off Iโ€™m afraid."

A fourth joked: "Ramsdale was watching Manchester United last night."

Another said: "Blimey, what a shocker from Ramsdale. Should make it an interesting game."
