A lip reader has claimed that Lewis Hamilton's comments to Kim Kardashian during the Super Bowl made her uncomfortable.

With the Formula One season just weeks away, perhaps the biggest story in the sport isn't about the sport itself, but instead centres on Hamilton's dating life.

According to various reports, the Ferrari star is currently in a relationship with American media personality Kardashian as the pair have been spotted together on several occasions in recent weeks.

It therefore came as no surprise when cameras picked up Hamilton and Kardashian sitting together as the Seattle Seahawks beat the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl.

However, it appears that things didn't exactly go to plan for Hamilton during the NFL match, as a lip reader has claimed that the F1 legend's comments made Kardashian look 'uncomfortable'.

Rumours of the reality TV star, 45, and the British Formula One star, 41, being in a secret relationship first emerged following Ferrari's first testing sessions of the pre season in Barcelona.

The pair have been seem together on several occasions since then, but many are viewing their appearance together at the Super Bowl as a 'hard launch' confirming that they are in a relationship.

Bit, according to expert Nicola Hickling, who is the founder of LipReader, Hamilton's private comment to Kim during the NFL match didn't exactly go down well.

"No I don't take just any girl to my mom, I mean you're gonna meet someday, she is very excited to see you," Hamilton reportedly said to Kim, according to Hickling, via the Daily Mail.

Reacting to the comment, Hickling claims that Kim appeared to "shuffle uncomfortably in her seat" before covering her face and "replying with a simple okay".

Body language expert reveals Kim Kardashian flirting technique used on Lewis Hamilton

However, body language expert Judi James suggested the complete opposite, as she told the Daily Mail about how Kim's 'hot and cool' flirting technique during the viral clip of their Super Bowl interaction clearly impressed Hamilton.

"Firstly, there is the pose that registers undivided attention between them, which is a form of non-verbal stroke when you're on a date," James claimed.

"Kim actually leans back to take in Lewis visually as he speaks and this flattering "stroke" produces a "purr" response from him which is visible in the way his facial features soften and he talks through a smile of pleasure."

James continued: "Kim adds to the flirting when the tip of her tongue appears at the side of her mouth. This is usually seen as a gesture of playful desire or interest.

"But then she seems to switch to a very smart technique of intense interest followed by distraction, suddenly looking away after bathing Lewis in her interested gaze.

"She even brings one hand up to touch her hair and hide her face from him. This hot/cool body language technique is used to capture someone's attention and to get them to coax the signals of interest back again.

"Kim's hand to hair gesture looks like a preen here, suggesting she sees Lewis as a very suitable "catch" to show off with pride at this public event."

Hamilton and Kardashian are yet to publicly confirm their relationship, but it certainly appears that the pair are spending a lot of time together ahead of the 2026 Formula One season opener in Melbourne on March 8.
