Jeremy Clarkson has revealed that there is only one F1 driver he doesn't like - and it isn't George Russell.

Clarkson regularly provides comment on F1 on his Twitter account, with the former Top Gear host most recently praising Charles Leclerc for his overtake on Russell at the Dutch Grand Prix.

In a separate tweet following Kimi Antonelli's collision with Leclerc, which forced the Ferrari driver to retire, he wrote: "Antonelli is a teenager."

When a fan in response suggested that Antonelli's Mercedes team-mate Russell was a 'crybaby', Clarkson responded: "Nah. George is OK. They all are. Bar one."

Another user then posted a photo of Aston Martin's Lance Stroll, but Clarkson denied he was the driver he was talking about: "Not him."

Fans speculated that Clarkson could have been talking about Lewis Hamilton, especially as he described him as 'past his prime' and 'too old' in his column for The Sun after the 2024 Brazilian Grand Prix.

He has been critical of the seven-time world champion on numerous other occasions in the past, claiming he had become 'too woke' back in 2021.

But prior to the rain-affected British Grand Prix in 2024, that Hamilton won, Clarkson praised the then Mercedes driver by saying: "It [the rain] means the old boys get a chance. Alonso and Hamilton. When it rains, it's always the old boys that do well. I'm really looking forward to this."

Hamilton also appeared twice on Top Gear when Clarkson was host of the BBC show, first in 2007 and then again in 2013.

After the Mercedes driver broke the test track's lap record in his second appearance, Clarkson commented: "Unbelievable. Unbelievably fast time. You didn't even look like you were concentrating! Apart from him [The Stig], everyone's thrilled."

For now, with Clarkson refusing to comment further, the identity of the mystery driver is still not yet clear.
