Ferrari have decided to 'cancel' Lewis Hamilton's dream project as speculation continues to mount over the Briton's Formula 1 future.
Hamilton's eighth-placed finish in Abu Dhabi capped off a thoroughly disappointing first season for the Briton at the Scuderia.
He ended the year without a single Grand Prix podium, with his only real highlight being a Sprint victory in China back in March.
Although the 41-year-old is contracted to Ferrari until the end of 2026, doubts over his future have intensified in recent weeks following a run of poor performances.

After the season finale, Hamilton admitted that both he and the team may need to consider personnel changes next year.
He said: "In terms of personal reflection, every weekend I've written down what I felt went wrong that weekend, the decisions I've taken, so there's a lot of learnings to do there.

"Through my break I will analyse those decisions and make markers on how I can make better decisions in the future.
“My surroundings in terms of personal personnel, team personnel, how you utilise people, whether people need to move into different positions to work better.
"All these different things need to be looked at in my personal space so that we can optimise our teamwork.”
In the latest development in what has become an increasingly strained relationship between Hamilton and Ferrari, the team have reportedly scrapped the design of a new Ferrari F-40 inspired supercar.
Earlier this year, Hamilton had pushed to revive the car with a V12 engine and a manual transmission, in what was referred to as the F44 project.

According to Everyeye.it, journalist Giorgio Terruzzi claimed the decision has "made Hamilton furious" and is "something that bothers Hamilton like crazy."
Terruzzi warned that the project has not been 'abandoned' but that it has 'faded'.
Pino Allievi added that it was natural for Hamilton to want to re-design an iconic Ferrari car after such a high-profile move.
Before the 2025 season got underway, Hamilton visited Maranello, Ferrari's headquarters, and posed with the original F40.
The season turned into a disastrous campaign for the seven-time world champion, who ended the season on 156 points - 86 fewer than teammate Charles Leclerc.
While he salvaged a points finish on Sunday, Hamilton suffered another dismal qualifying, exiting in the opening session for the third consecutive weekend.
After Saturday's qualifying, he said: "I don't have the words to describe the feeling that I have inside.
"An unbearable amount of anger and rage. There's not really much I can say about it."
Even after recovering to eighth in the race, Hamilton admitted he could not wait to step away from Formula 1 now that the season has come to an end.
