The media in Italy have delivered a brutal verdict on Ferrari amid reports linking Oscar Piastri with a move to the team.
Last weekend, the Scuderia endured a tough race at the Singapore Grand Prix as Charles Leclerc finished in sixth place after being overtaken by Mercedes youngster Kimi Antonelli.
Meanwhile, Lewis Hamilton experienced brake failure at the latter stages of the race and also received a five-second penalty for track limits, ultimately finishing in eighth place.
As a result, Ferrari are now only eight points ahead of Red Bull in the standings, and are 27 points adrift of Mercedes.

On the back of another disappointing Grand Prix, the Italian media did not hold back.
Reflecting on the weekend in Singapore, Italian news outlet Corriere dello Sport stated that the 'disastrous performance of the last Grand Prix exacerbates the endless crisis of the Scuderia'.
The publication went on to say that the performances of the SF-25 have worsened after the revised rear suspension was brought in.

In addition, it has been suggested that tension is beginning to rise within the camp, with team boss Fred Vasseur seen having a 'very tense discussion' with a team member.
Due to Ferrari's ongoing struggles, it was recently reported that star driver Leclerc could leave the team if the new car doesn't meet his expectations.
While Leclerc has been linked with a move away from Ferrari, McLaren star and championship leader Piastri has been tipped to move to the Scuderia.
As reported by Swiss outlet Blick, Piastri is 'setting his sights' on potentially moving away from McLaren.

Although he has a contract until 2028, the possibility of a vacant seat emerging at Ferrari for 2027 due to uncertainties surrounding Leclerc and Hamilton could present an opportunity for Piastri to switch teams.
Despite not being directly connected to Ferrari, Piastri did win the Formula 2 and Formula 3 championships with Prema Racing, which often served as a feeder team to the Scuderia.
Formula 1 will return next weekend with the United States Grand Prix, taking place around the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas.
