The insane cost for a table at Charles Leclerc’s after-party following Monaco Grand Prix victory

The insane cost for a table at Charles Leclerc’s after-party following Monaco Grand Prix victory

Charles Leclerc won the Monaco Grand Prix for the first time in his career.

The costs for a table at Charles Leclerc’s after-party following his Monaco Grand Prix will raise a few eyebrows.

On Sunday, Ferrari star and hometown hero Leclerc finally brushed aside the ‘Monaco Curse’ as he led from start to finish to finally claim victory in his home race.

Leclerc had never finished on the podium in Monaco having finished sixth in 2023 and fourth in 2022.

Speaking on his team radio after winning the race, the Monegasque said: “I hope Jimmy’z is ready,” giving fans an insight into where he will be heading to celebrate his victory.

Jimmy’z is a popular upscale nightclub in Monte Carlo and has eye-watering prices for a table.

According to Senate Grand Prix, the cheapest price for a table, which includes a magnum of Armand de Brignac and one bottle of alcohol, is €3000.

If you would like a table in the DJ Booth Area, it could cost up to €15,000.

Bearing in mind those prices are from 2021, the prices of today will most likely be much higher.

Speaking after the race, an emotional Leclerc said: “No words can explain that. It's such a difficult race, I think the fact that twice I've been starting on pole position and we couldn't quite make it makes it even better in a way.

“It means a lot, obviously. It's the race which made me dream of becoming a Formula 1 driver one day.”

He added: “Fifteen laps to the end you're hoping nothing happens and the emotions are coming.

“My dad has given everything for me to be here and it was a dream of ours for me to race here and win here, so it's unbelievable.”

Meanwhile, reigning Formula 1 world champion Max Verstappen had a weekend to forget as he started and finished in sixth place.

The Dutchman vented his frustrations during the race with an X-rated team radio message.

He said: “F**k me, this is boring. Should've brought my pillow.”

F1 returns in two weeks’ time with the Canadian Grand Prix, which will take place around the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve on June 9.
