Darts fans are all in agreement after watching Luke Littler dominate Ryan Searle to book his spot in the final of the World Darts Championship.

Littler eased past Searle on Friday, winning their semi-final clash 6-1.

But he lost the opening set, with Searle taking it to take an early lead.

'The Nuke', however, hit back in stunning fashion, winning six consecutive sets to secure his spot in Saturday's final.

He had a stunning average of 103.64, with a doubles success rate of 58 per cent.

Littler faces the winner of Gary Anderson vs. Gian van Veen as he aims to win back-to-back world titles following his triumph last year.

The teenage phenom could have two world titles to his name at the age of 18.

That would hypothetically put him 12 behind Phil Taylor, who won 14 PDC world titles during his distinguished darting career.

Fans online, though, are convinced Littler surpasses Taylor's record of 14 PDC world titles if he doesn't retire early.

One X user wrote: "Littler is inevitable. Breaks Taylor's record before he's 45 imo."

A second said: "He definitely has the quality to do so. It’s whether he’ll last that long in darts that’s the question."

A third added: "It looks like he is just practicing at home every match again."

Speaking before his victory over Searle, Littler said he doesn't believe anyone, including himself, will break Taylor's record of 14 PDC world titles.

Asked if he has a number of world titles in mind that he wants to collect during his career, the world No.1 replied: "Not in my head, no. The talk is always 'will he beat Phil Taylor's record?'

"Personally, I don't think anyone will," he added. "I don't think myself will. I've actually not said to myself how many [world titles] do I want. I'm sure one day that will come and I will pick a number."

Littler, who is through to a third consecutive World Darts Championship final, is seeking to become the first player since Gary Anderson in 2016 to win back-to-back world titles.
