Nathan Aspinall was forced to address a ‘feud’ with Luke Littler ahead of the 2026 World Darts Championship at Alexandra Palace.
Over the festive period, all eyes will be on ‘Ally Pally’ in London as the best players in the world of darts vie for glory in the PDC World Darts Championship.
Littler, the reigning champion, is aiming for a second title. Other strong contenders, including Luke Humphries, Gian van Veen, and Gerwyn Price, also hope for a chance at the £1,000,000 prize.
Runners-up will also benefit financially with a £400,000 prize while semi-final losers will get £200,000.

Another man who is looking to win his maiden World Darts Championship is two-time PDC major winner Aspinall.
The Stockport star won the 2019 UK Open as well as the World Matchplay in 2023. Despite never winning the World Darts Championship, he has reached the semi-finals twice – in 2019 and 2020.

Round one will take place across nine days between December 11-19, with Littler in action against Darius Labanauskas on night one, while Aspinall faces PDC Asian Championship winner Lourence Ilagan on night nine.
And ahead of the tournament, the Stopfordian took part in a promotional video with Paddy Power, and it’s fair to say he was caught by surprise.
“Have you been addressing the rumours?” the interviewer asked, to which Aspinall replied: “About?”
“Just around your relationship with Luke Littler,” the interviewer added.
At the same time, journalist Emma Paton and Mark Webster were speaking to the interviewer through a microphone to which the darts star was unaware.
“I fell out with Luke Littler?” asked a perplexed Aspinall.
“That’s the first I’ve heard."
The interviewer then added: “He [Littler] mentioned that you weren’t on speaking terms.”
Paton then walked in and said: “We’ve been telling him [the interviewer] to say stuff."
The ‘The Asp’ joked: “You f****** k***heads,” after he realised he had been pranked.
But it was not just Aspinall who was the butt of the joke with Damon Heta, Price, Michael van Gerwen, Stephen Bunting and Humphries also falling victim to the comical prank.
At one point, a question about having a “crippling fear of geese” was put to the respective players, who were confused, while Bunting answered: “Not so much a geese. It was a swan. And when I was a kid, I had an ice cream and went to eat my ice cream, and this swan took the top of my ice cream off.”
