Darts superstar Luke Littler has changed his mind about his dream car after passing his driving test.

At just 18 years old, Littler has already cemented himself as one of the biggest names in darts.

Having made his World Championship debut aged just 16, where he went on a sensational run to the final, Littler has continued to go from strength to strength.

He has since completed the so-called 'Triple Crown' by winning the World Matchplay, the World Championship, and the Premier League.

And remarkably, Littler has done all that without ever having learned to drive.

In June 2024, he told The Mail: I’m 17, so I’m doing my (driving) lessons whenever I’m available. I’ll go car shopping, see what I want.

“I can’t go too big on the first car. Probably just a nice Volkswagen.”

After winning the World Championship in 2025, where he defeated Michael van Gerwen in the final, he spoke again about his plans to buy a car.

He told the media: “Last year I was looking at driving and I loved the Ford Focus, but now I’ve gone up in the world just a little.

“I’ve always loved a Mercedes A-Class. Just a small car.”

Now, despite failing his driving theory test six times, Littler has passed his practical driving test at the first time of asking.

He confirmed the news via Instagram, posting a photo of himself holding his certificate next to the car he learned to drive in.

Littler captioned the post: "Get innn... first time and 0 minors."

His driving instructor, Colin Price, also posted on social media, writing: “Congratulations to Luke Littler on passing his driving test today at Warrington on his first attempt with ZERO driving faults.

"Absolutely amazing achievement well done now enjoy that car.”

Given the immense success that Littler has already enjoyed in his career, it is not a surprise that he now has his eyes set on a more expensive car.

Since he burst onto the scene at the 2024 World Championships, Sportinglife estimate he has now earned more than £2 million in prize money.

Littler has also secured several lucrative sponsorship deals, including with Target Darts, boohooMAN, Xbox, and KP Nuts.

PR expert Mark Borkowski told Sun Sport earlier this year: “Luke Littler, he’s a mega brand in the making although arguably he already exudes star power.

“What makes him more interesting is that he is so down-to-earth, that’s a superpower in itself.

“But what lies ahead financially hinges on how well his support team plays it."
