Beau Greaves' Verdict on PDC Rule That Could See Her Banned From Events

Beau Greaves beat Luke Littler on Monday in the World Youth Championship.

Beau Greaves has already spoken out about the strict PDC rule that is set to ban her from multiple events.

Greaves, 21, made headlines this week after she got the better of reigning world champion Luke Littler.

The pair faced off at the World Youth Championship in Wigan on Monday, with Greaves winning 6-5 after recording an impressive average of 105.

After the pair's match, Littler heaped praise on Greaves, he wrote: "I had 2 10 dart legs missed d12 for a nine and still couldn't win. Fair play to "beau_greaves all the best in Minehead. Some talent."

Looking ahead, Greaves is expected to accept a PDC Tour card for 2026 - 2027.

However, if Greaves joins the PDC ProTour full-time, she will also not be permitted to play in WDF events for contractual reasons.

PDC rules prohibit players from competing in both their world championship and any of the WDF versions.

Last year, she opted to play in the WDF Women's World Championship instead of the PDC World Championship at Alexandra Palace.

Speaking back in November 2024, Greaves branded the rule as 'stupid'.

She said: "I think it's a stupid decision by the PDC.

"The ladies' game is massive to me. I wanted to be a women's world champion and I got that at Lakeside, so I can't not go back. I don't know why people would think I wouldn't do that."

Greaves added: "The game is not just made up of me, Fallon [Sherrock], Lisa [Ashton] and whoever. There is a whole bunch of us that need to get better. Hopefully other ladies can get involved and back each otherI don't really want me to do that well. I just want the the ladies' game to get bigger and bigger.

"I am more for that sort of stuff. They deserve it. As nice as the men are to watch on telly, there is room for the ladies. There are 100, 200 players who want to play but don't think they are good enough for the men's game. I want to make sure I am flying the flag for them who don't get mentioned.

"It's a shame they make you choose [Ally Pally or Lakeside]. I don't understand that, I think it's stupid. I'd love to do both. I wouldn't win Ally Pally but I'd give it a good crack and see if I played well - but ultimately I want to be a ladies' world champion."
