Manchester City will face RB Leipzig in the UEFA Champions League last-16, it has been confirmed.

The Premier League champions progressed to the knock-out stages for the 10th year running after claiming top spot in Group G.

Seeing off competition from Borussia Dortmund, Copenhagen, and Sevilla, Pep Guardiola's side will now be looking to push on and go all the way in a tournament that they have so far failed to win.

As for their opponents in the next round, RB Leipzig, they progressed via a second-placed finish in Group F.

Leipzig completed their group stage campaign with a total of four wins, zero draws, and two defeats.

Only Real Madrid went one step better than RB Leipzig in Group F, with the Spanish side finishing top in the four-team mini-league across six matches.
