Manchester City will travel to Germany to face Borussia Dortmund in a blockbuster Champions League encounter on Tuesday night.

After returning to winning ways in the Premier League with a 3-1 victory against Brighton, Manchester City will hope to do the same against Borussia Dortmund in midweek.

Pep Guardiola’s side have already qualified for the last-16 of the competition, with three wins out of four so far.

Against Edin Terzic’s men, the Sky Blues would be hoping for a better overall display than in the previous 2-1 triumph at the Etihad Stadium, where the hosts were far from their brilliant best.

However, Borussia Dortmund will try to make things uneasy for the visitors at the Signal Iduna Park, coming off the back of a swashbuckling 5-0 thrashing of VfB Stuttgart on Saturday.

As both sides are set to lock horns in a much-awaited Champions League fixture, here is a collection of the most insightful statistics ahead of the game.
