"I Don’t Know What I Can Do To Be Better!" - Kevin De Bruyne Reflects On His Glittering Career

"I Don’t Know What I Can Do To Be Better!" - Kevin De Bruyne Reflects On His Glittering Career

Kevin De Bruyne touched on his incredible career during national duty with Belgium at the Nations League.

Ever since Kevin De Bruyne betted on his prodigious talent by departing Chelsea in search of more regular gametime, it is safe to say that the rest is history.

During the 2014/15 season, the Belgian singlehandedly guided Wolfsburg to a second-place finish in the Bundesliga as well as a DFB-Pokal triumph. He was subsequently voted the league’s best player, as he set an assist record with 20 to his name whilst also netting ten goals.

Since making the switch to Manchester City in the following campaign, the all-encompassing number ten has not looked back for even a single moment, as he has widely been recognised as the outright best midfielder in the world for almost a decade.

Winning four Premier League titles and Carabao Cups apiece and one FA Cup whilst being awarded as the PFA Player of the Year twice in a row, Kevin De Bruyne’s CV speaks for the illustrious career he has had so far.

The Manchester City superstar was quoted by Phil Blanche of the Independent as he reflected on his stupendous exploits: “The last 10 years have been unbelievable for me. I don’t know what I can do to be better. I just have to do what I need to do for my job at City and Belgium. The level was good and I am going to try and do the same.”

The Sky Blues talisman is already regarded as a great of the game as well as one of the best ever midfielders in Premier League history, which indicates how incredible his legacy already is.

With the star midfielder managing to shake off his early-season injury woes to steer Manchester City to the Premier League title, it would be a safe bet to bank on the midfield maestro not slowing down anytime soon.
