Jack Grealish names one thing he wants to learn from Erling Haaland

Manchester City forward Jack Grealish has revealed the one thing he wants to learn from his teammate Erling Haaland.

Since Erling Haaland put pen to paper for Manchester City in the summer, the Norwegian international has become the talk of the town for a number of reasons.

For starters, many had wondered whether Haaland - who has been billed across the globe as being a generational talent - could adapt to Premier League football immediately.

Now that the 22-year-old has done so in record-breaking fashion with a staggering 11 goals to his name in just seven games, it is impossible to imagine any conversation around the English top-flight that excludes him.

Jack Grealish, who is known to be pally with Erling Haaland, has now revealed how he has been unable to escape the mention of the youngster’s name, since his arrival at the club from Borussia Dortmund in the summer.

“Everywhere I go now - whether it be family, friends, people in the street - they always say, ‘What’s he like?’ and I can’t speak highly enough of him.

"He is an unbelievable player and a brilliant person, so humble for what he has achieved already," he said in a recent press conference.

The Manchester City attacker was also quizzed about whether he can learn anything from the in-form goalscorer’s game.

“I actually think I could.

"His mindset for scoring goals is unbelievable. If I could get that."

Jack Grealish continued, "I came here and I spoke to (England coach) Steve Holland and he said, ‘Was that actually you at the back stick scoring (against Wolves)?’

"(He said it) because that’s something that I’ve not been known for, but it is something that I want to do more often.

"If I could take anything, it would be that.”

Lastly, Grealish touched on how a start to his Manchester City career, in the same manner as his teammate, could have changed the perception around him since signing for the Premier League champions for £100 million from Aston Villa.

“When I signed for Manchester City, I knew it wouldn't be all laughs unless I started the way that Haaland did.

"I think that's the only way I wouldn't get caned. I'm not saying nothing doesn't ever affect me because it does, I'm a 27-year-old kid.”

All in all, it seems Jack Grealish admires Erling Haaland as both a player and a character, which is music to the ears of every Manchester City fan.

One will certainly be hoping that Grealish ups his performances towards the same level as his City teammates across the course of the coming months.
