Erling Haaland is set to make his Manchester City debut on Saturday.

The Sky Blues conclude their pre-season tour of the United States with a friendly against Bayern Munich this weekend.

Guardiola's side face the German Champions at the famous Lambeau Field, home to the Green Bay Packers, in Wisconsin.

Saturday's friendly is the Blues' final pre-season match, and comes three days after City's victory over Club America at the NRG Stadium in Texas.

Kevin De Bruyne scored twice during a stellar 2-1 win over the Mexican side, with numerous impressive individual performances.

Wednesday's win also saw debuts for three of the Champions' four new signings, as Stefan Ortega, Kalvin Phillips and Julian Alvarez all featured.

Marquee summer signing Erling Haaland didn't feature in midweek, but revealed himself post-match that Saturday's match against Bayern Munich would be his first appearance in a Sky Blue shirt.

Haaland completed a £51 million transfer to the Etihad Stadium last month, as City beat the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona to the 22 year-olds signature.

The Norwegian scored 61 goals in 66 Bundesliga appearances for Borussia Dortmund, and will make his City debut against a familiar opponent.

The 22 year-old has six direct goal involvements in seven appearances against Bayern Munich.

Talk of Haaland's much anticipated debut was confirmed by manager Pep Guardiola on Friday, as the Catalan all but confirmed that the prolific striker would feature against Julian Nagelsmann's side.

Asked about the Norwegian playing on Saturday, Guardiola hilariously replied: "If he doesn't fall out of bed and break his ankle.”

The Bundesliga Champions, who were previously managed by City boss Guardiola, haven’t met competitively since 2014.

After hopefully featuring on Saturday, Cityzens can look forward to hopefully seeing the Norwegian make his competitive debut next week against Liverpool.

The Blues face the Merseyside club in the FA Community Shield at the King Power Stadium on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Haaland's Premier League debut could come against West Ham in a fortnight's time, with Guardiola's side kicking off their title defence at the London Stadium on Sunday 7th August.
