Tyson Fury's return to the boxing ring has been officially confirmed ahead of his rumoured fight with Anthony Joshua.
After 16 months of retirement, Fury surprised nobody as he came back to the boxing ring for a bout against Arslanbek Makhmudov in London on April 11.
Having picked up a unanimous decision victory in the fight, questions immediately were raised about when we might next see the Gypsy King and who his next opponent would be.
Since then, rumours regarding a blockbuster British clash with Anthony Joshua expected to come later this year have been circulating.

But before then, it's been confirmed that Fury will take on a warmup fight, as he's set to face Polish heavyweight Mariusz Wach at the Max Muay Thai Stadium in Pattaya, Thailand, where he has held several of his recent training camps.
The fight is set to take place in just over three weeks on July 24, with details of the undercard expected to come in the near future.
"2026 is a landmark year for me in boxing and I’m excited to be able to bring this event to Pattaya, a part of the world that is special to me," Fury said following the announcement.
In a historic decision, ticket profits generated from the event will be donated to local charities across Pattaya, to that the whole area benefits from the fight night.
In recognition of this commitment, the WBC have confirmed that they will be present at the fight present Fury with the inaugural WBC Humanitarian Title.
"We’re coming together to put on a great show for the fans, while using the opportunity to give back the local community, who have been so good to me every time I have visited," Fury added
"At the same time, I’m fully focused on preparing for a tough opponent and making sure I’m the best version of Tyson Fury going into fight night. It’s the start of a huge second half of the year for me.”
Wach, 46, has a professional record record of 39 wins and 19 loses from 51 fights, 20 by knockout.
However, the Polish fighter has won just three of his past 10 bouts, with his last bout being a decision loss to Ukraine's Viktor Vykhryst.

He has suffered three recent losses to British heavyweights after suffering a second-round stoppage to Moses Itauma in a WBO Intercontinental heavyweight title fight in July 2024.
Before that he was beaten by Frazer Clarke in 2023 and Dillian Whyte four years earlier.
When will Tyson Fury fight Anthony Joshua?
Fury's fight with Wace is set to take place just one day before Joshua makes his comeback on 25 July against Kristian Prenga in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Joshua's bout will be his first since he was involved in a tragic car crash that killed two of his friends in Nigeria in December last year.
Should both Fury and Joshua win their fights as expected, it is widely expected that the two will meet in the ring later in 2026.
As it stands, it is believed that Las Vegas is the frontrunner to host the bout, with other American cities under consideration despite the fact that the fight involves two Brits.
