Former heavyweight champion David Haye left viewers in stitches on Sunday night when he appeared on popular TV show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.

The 39-year-old became the latest celebrity to join host Jeremy Clarkson in the famous chair.

And it was all going swimmingly for Haye as he answered the first few questions without much hesitation.

But at the £500 mark, he was left struggling for words.

"Which of these words is also the name of a glass used to drink champagne?" Clarkson asked.

The answers of guitar, bassoon, cello and flute soon appeared on screen but it was clear by Haye's facial expressions that he didn't know the answer.

Haye decided to use his 'ask the audience' option and unsurprisingly, 96% of people opted for D.

He obviously chose the majority and eventually progressed to the £1,000 stage of proceedings. ITV have since posted footage of the classic moment.

As you can imagine, social media were quick to comment on Haye's performance.
