Former One Direction member Liam Payne has sensationally teased an announcement with Tommy Fury for TOMORROW.

Payne took to social media to tease fans as he uploaded a poster of him facing off against the boxer, who recently defeated Jake Paul.

The supposed announcement will take place at Old Trafford in Manchester, England, according to the mock-up poster shared on the musician's official Twitter account.

It could be a hint at a potential Soccer Aid showdown, which is due to take place at the home of Manchester United on June 11.

Payne, who split from One Direction in 2016, partied with the 23-year-old in Las Vegas following his brother's championship victory over Deontay Wilder back in February 2020.

Fury, 9-0 in professional boxing, registered the biggest win of his budding career in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia, when he out-pointed Paul last February.

A rematch between the pair has been mooted, with nothing yet confirmed - with the likes of KSI calling out the undefeated fighter.

KSI's promoter Kalle Sauerland believes a fight against Fury could happen following a 'great' meeting with his father, John.

"Had a great meeting with (Fury's dad) John, we both like the fight," he revealed. "It's about getting a deal done now. Look, John seems to be like a very simple person to deal with which I like, straight shooter.

"We had a good meeting, it was nice to go up to Morecambe and yeah, I'm confident we can get it done. But we're not overlooking obviously Joe Fournier first."

Fury has since claimed he has put on three stone since beating Paul in their grudge match.
