Jake Paul Could Fight Tommy Fury After All, One Final Offer Has Been Made For August 27

Jake Paul Could Fight Tommy Fury After All, One Final Offer Has Been Made For August 27

Paul is yet to respond.

KSI has offered Jake Paul the chance to face Tommy Fury on the undercard of his upcoming fight with Alex Wassabi on August 27.

Paul and Fury were set to settle their differences at Madison Square Garden this weekend but the bout was called off after Fury was denied entry to the US for a pre-fight press conference.

He cited visa issues as the reason and that saw rapper KSI offer to book the fight on the undercard of his own boxing return later this month.

Rather than accept his rival's proposal, Paul chose to face Hasim Rahman Jr. instead of Fury on August 6.

That fight has since been cancelled after 'The Problem Child' accused Rahman Jr. of lacking professionalism in regards to his weight cut.

KSI watched all the drama unfold and decided to make one last attempt to get Paul an August payday.

The 29-year-old explained in a new YouTube video, aptly titled 'Jake Paul Fight Is Cancelled': "Jake should've accepted my offer and should've fought on my undercard. There's still time, you can fight Tommy Fury on my undercard.

"It will be a great event. You can fight Tommy Fury at a sold-out O2 Arena, you don't have to worry about the logistics we can sort all of that.

"It will be easy for you. All you have to do is show up and that's it. Show up, then weigh-in and do a little press conference but it is what it is."

A fight between KSI and Paul has been rumoured for some time and it could be a possibility if the former defeats Wassabi in his first fight since 2019.

It's expected Paul will be attendance at the O2 Arena to set up something with KSI down the line.

The YouTuber is currently 5-0 and has world title aspirations in the future.

If he defeated Rahman Jr., he would've earned a place in the World Boxing Council cruiserweight rankings.
