KSI's post-fight interview with brother Deji is one of the most wholesome moments of 2022 so far

Things you love to see.

KSI and his younger brother Deji embraced in an incredibly wholesome post-fight interview after they both secured victories in Saturday night's boxing event.

After defeats against Jake Paul, Vinnie Hacker and Alex Wassabi in the build-up to this week's card at the O2 Arena in London, many predicted another defeat for the popular 25-year-old YouTube personality.

But his cool, calm and collected nature in the weeks prior to his clash against Fousey – real name Yousef Saleh Erakat - translated to the ring, where he picked his opponent apart with strong jabs throughout.

The composed Deji eventually earned a deserved win in the third round after Fousey's team threw in the towel and younger brother KSI, who was watching backstage, could not contain his excitement.

Minutes later and KSI would soon make it two wins in one night after beating rapper Swarmz and so-called professional boxer Luis Alcaraz Pineda in both the first and last fight on the card.

It was a great night for the Olatunji brothers, who have endured a turbulent relationship in the past.

But as 'JJ' was getting ready to speak in his post-match interview with KSI-led promotional company Misfits Boxing, the 29-year-old was joined by his younger brother and this happened. Wholesome.

As you can see in the footage above, Deji was asked what he thought about KSI's efforts on the night. "I mean, he's a king!" Deji replied. "What more can I really say. This is his moment, now. I don't want to steal this. Sorry..."

Moments later and KSI dragged his brother back into shot. "No, no, no," he said. "This our moment, bro. What are you on about? Your first win, bro. And I'm f**king proud of you. I'm going to say it all the f**king time now. You f**king killed it. You looked so sick, bro."

The pair then went their separate ways after agreeing to meet at the afterparty and everyone watching at home loved it.

One fan said: "Deji looks like he’s about to cry hearing his brother talk like that," while another commented: "I grew up watching these guys, this is so beautiful."

A third wrote: "You can see the water in Deji’s eyes when he hears, 'I’m proud of you.' There is no such feeling like this. You can be a billionaire, healthy, successful but to feel loved and make the one who matter proud…it’s something else. Deji the Tank. We proud."

A fourth said: "To see them on good terms brings me joy."

Deji's post-fight reaction in the ring was one of delight. “I have the best team ever," he said. "Daley’s the best boxing coach ever. I have Leon, the best PT in the game. And I have everyone out there showing their love, and that brought me up.

“I want to say thank you to everyone in here, and the millions watching at home as well. Thank you. I wanna fight anyone, Bryce Hall, if you wanna fight, it’s on.”

Fousey, who looked in great shape for the fight, added: “Congratulations Deji, you’ll hear it from me first, congratulations.

“You deserved this one.”

It's great to see the Olatunji brothers on good terms again, for sure. Thoughts on the Deji vs Fousey bout? Who should he fight next?

Let us know in the comments.
