Jake Paul slammed for 'shameless' Mike Tyson fight prediction as warning sent to 'Iron' Mike

Jake Paul has been slammed for his 'shameless' prediction for his shock fight against Mike Tyson.

Paul will face Tyson in a boxing match on July 20 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Paul makes a swift return to action having scored a big knockout win over Ryan Bourland last weekend.

As for Tyson, he returns to the ring for the first time since his exhibition bout against Roy Jones Jr back in November 2020.

And ahead of their summer showdown, Paul has warned that he's going to put the boxing legend 'to sleep'.

On X, the 27-year-old wrote: "Promotion promotion promotion if I’m being honest it don’t need that.. The biggest fight of the 21st century, in the biggest NFL stadium in the US, broadcast live, on the biggest streaming platform in the world... that’s the MVP way.

"Whether you’re tuning in on Netflix or showing out in person, whether you’re team Paul or team Tyson, or whether you’re a lifelong boxing fan or watching your first fight, you’re not going to want to miss this event.

"I could not be more excited to make this amazing fight available to all Netflix subscribers alongside the hardest hitter of all time, Mike Tyson, on Saturday, July 20th.

Considering the age gap between Tyson, who is 57, and Paul, fight fans on social media mocked his warning.

One X user wrote: "This has got to be a joke? Can’t be seriously bragging about the prospect of putting a 57 year old to sleep?... this shouldn’t be allowed."

A second tweeted: "Bro fighting someone born in 1966."

A third added: "Actually shameless."

A fourth said: "This is literally elder abuse. Have some shame."
