Nigel Benn gave a surprise announcement in the aftermath of watching his son Conor beat Chris Eubank Jr.
The sons of the British boxing legends met in the ring for the second time at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this year, with Eubank Jr having been victorious earlier this year via a unanimous judges' decision.
However, last night, it was Benn who was victorious this time around with a unanimous decision of his own with the judges scoring the fight 119-107, 116-110 and 118-108 in his favour.
The elder Benn and Eubank fought twice during the 1990s and now their sons have done the same this decade.

Speaking in the ring after his victory, Benn said: "I want to thank everyone that has come out tonight, it's been some journey. This is the end of the Benn-Eubank saga, over. Chris has twins coming and I have my boy, but this ends here.
"Everyone says I can't box, put that in your pipe and smoke it.
"This wouldn't have been what it was without Chris. Our dads most of all, this is generational, never been done before in history. Credit to Chris, thank you for sharing the ring with me.
"Not bad for two silver spoon kids!

"I fancy Barrios for the WBC world title, Ryan Garcia, [Rolly] Romero, Devin Haney, all of them Yanks can get it. Any day of the week, and twice on Sundays."
Benn Sr has been in his son's corner and for his training camps several times in recent years.
However, he has now confirmed this is the last of his son's training camps he will be attending in person as he will now return to Australia where he lives with his wife and children and spend more time with them moving forwards in the future.
Benn Sr said: "I don't know if Conor knows but this is my last training camp.
"I won't be coming over no more. I've been coming over and spending six to eight months of the year here but I can't do it anymore.
"I have three lovely kids in Australia that need me. I have a lovely wife who has stood by me through thick and thin.
"Me and my wife are on the other side of the clock now and I need to spend time with my wife, and with my little boy Levi.
"I spent 10 years with Conor, helping him to get to where he is today. Now I have a lovely little boy who wants to be a professional footballer and I've got to start working on his mindset.
"Conor is in good hands, he has an unbelievable team and a lovely wife."
