Chris Eubank Jr has claimed Eddie Hearn attempted to put a special clause in his contract for his upcoming with bitter rival Conor Benn.

The two are finally scheduled to square off in the ring on April 26 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, headlining a stacked card titled 'Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves'.

The two had their first press conference in Manchester on Tuesday and all hell broke loose as Eubank Jr smashed an egg into Benn's face during a fiery face-off.

Benn's father Nigel, a rival of Eubank Sr, appeared to grab the throat of his son's opponent amidst all the chaos - which led to a face-off on Wednesday being cancelled due to "security concerns"

However a second presser was scheduled at the fight venue in London on Thursday and though tempers did not flare to the same level, there was still plenty of tension and animosity on the stage.

Not for the first time, Eubank Jr and Hearn got into it and NextGen claimed that the Matchroom chief tried to insert a clause whereby the 35-year-old would not be able to talk negatively about promoters.

Speaking at the event, Eubank Jr said: "If you guys want to hear something really funny, this worm (Hearn) tried to put in my fight contract that I couldn't say anything negative about promoters during this press conference.

"This guy has built his entire career about talking s*** about people and he's going to insert a clause that I can't say anything bad about him.

"That is who we are dealing with."

Hearn hit back and denied the claims, replying: "Absolutely not, you are getting sued by other promoters, not me. You have got that well wrong. That is another thing you have got wrong alongside dressing yourself this morning."

Eubank Jr is being promoted by Ben Shalom of BOXXER and was sued by Frank Warren of Queensbury when he branded he and other boxing chiefs "scumbags" at the press conference for the Dmitry Bivol vs Artur Beterbiev card he featured on last year.

He called out Warren, Hearn and Kalle Sauerland and only spoke well about Turki Alalshikh, the Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority in Saudi Arabia and the most powerful man in boxing.

Ahead of his April showdown with Benn, Eubank Jr also accused Hearn of "lying to the public" - stating that "there was no 60/40 split" agreed like the 45-year-old had said.

Eubank Jr said there were no splits and percentages present and that Hearn "didn't negotiate an amazing deal".
