
Boxing fans have taken to social media with similar comments after Anderson Silva defeated Tyron Woodley in a bout between two former UFC champions.
Silva and Woodley met in the ring on the undercard of Jake Paul's blockbuster fight with Anthony Joshua.
Silva is a former UFC Middleweight champion, while Woodley successfully defended his UFC welterweight title on four occasions.
Since retiring from MMA, both fighters have transitioned into boxing and they met in the ring on Friday night.

Woodley started the fight strongly , landing a big right-hander early and continuing his attack throughout the first round.
After a strong start to the second round for the American, the Brazilian grew into the bout and landed a powerful uppercut to Woodley's body during the second round.
Shortly after, Silva landed an uppercut to Woodley's chin, sending him to the ground.
The American returned to his feet, but less than a minute into the second round, the referee stepped in to bring the fight to an end.

Having lost his first two professional boxing fights to Paul, it leaves Woodley with a record of 0-3.
The American's struggles in the ring prompted boxing fans to issue scathing reactions on social media.

On X, one fan wrote: "Tyron Woodley needs to give up combat sports haha."
Another added: "Tyrone Woodley is embarrassing."
While one boxing fan concluded: "Woodley needs to stop fighting for good."
Woodley has experience stepping into the ring with Paul, having done so on two occasions in the past.

Paul fought Woodley for the first time in August 2021, winning by split decision.
They did not wait long for a rematch and fought again in December 2021, with Paul defeating Woodley via a sixth-round knockout.
