Andy Ruiz Jr speaks out after Twitter hacker claims he 'purchases prostitutes' and 'smokes weed all day'

Andy Ruiz Jr denied the allegations made against him.

Andy Ruiz Jr has been forced to deny allegations that he takes drugs and pays for prostitutes after his Twitter account was hacked.

The boxer's official Twitter account was hacked, with a series of damning allegations made against the former world heavyweight champion.

The now-deleted tweet sensationally claimed Ruiz Jr drinks codeine, smokes weed all day long and purchases prostitutes, accompanied with four photos, which shows him hooked up to a drip.

The tweet reads: "I wanted to share with you what my life behind camp is really like!

"I love to drink codeine and smoke weed all day long.

"I also love purchasing prostitutes. After this is going to meetings to clean my blood to make sure to come out clean when VADA comes to my training camps."

Ruiz Jr swiftly removed the post from social media and provided a response to the claims as he stated his ex-wife was on a rampage to 'ruin his career'.

In a video uploaded on Instagram, he said: "My Twitter got hacked by this b**ch that I know. She’s mad because I’m happy and mad because I’m with my girl, but I didn’t post anything.

"That’s an evil person putting stuff out there. She’s trying to ruin my career.

"She can never do that. God has bigger plans for me. I don’t like people trying to make me look bad and trying to hate me and saying I did this or did that.

"I thought she was going to find a new man. 'F**k, Andy. I’m going to go with this other guy and live my life,' but nope."

The 33-year-old hasn't fought since his victory over Luis Ortiz last September.

He's on a two-fight winning streak, having lost his rematch to Anthony Joshua, where he surrendered his world titles.

The Mexican-American had been briefly linked with a blockbuster fight against WBC title holder Tyson Fury until talks broke down.
