The Lakers big man hasn't been wearing a mask during his Instagram videos, perhaps prompting others within the bubble to notify authorities.

Dwight Howard (along with the rest of the league) is being watched by the notorious "snitch hotline".

The LA Lakers big man is the latest NBA star to fall victim to the in-house hotline, being warned by authorities for not wearing his mask.

According to reports, NBA officials were tipped off via the hotline about several players breaching the strict quarantine rules of the infamous 'bubble' - Howard being one of them.

"Somebody told on me," the 6 foot 10 inch center told his fans via Instagram Live.

It's safe to say the NBA's hotline hasn't gone down well with the athletes.

Originally set up by officials for players and staff to report breaches of quarantine and mask regulations, the hotline has since been dubbed the "snitch hotline" by those living within the safeguarded zone of Walt Disney World in Orlando.

With the hotline reportedly blowing up over the weekend, it appears people certainly aren't hesitating to pick up the phone and let officials know what's going on.

Only last week Jimmy Butler had NBA officials storm into his hotel room after they had received multiple noise complaints.

Upon arrival, Disney World security found the Miami Heat guard drenched in sweat after an intense workout where he'd been dribbling a basketball by himself.

Clearly a false alarm.

But with Howard now joining Butler on the growing list of victims, it just goes to show that the "snitch hotline" is being used to full effect in a bid to ensure the revamped season goes ahead without any hiccups.
