Lewis Hamilton's Dad Goes Viral For Classy Post-Race Act With Max Verstappen

Despite cruelly missing out on a record eighth F1 world title under controversial circumstances, the Brit showed plenty of grace and humility after his defeat.
But while Hamilton's continued professionalism proved why he's so adored by motorsport fans, it was his father who caught other peoples' attention.
In the wake of Max Verstappen's victory, with drama continuing to unfold by the second, Anthony Hamilton found the time to pull the Dutchman aside and congratulate him personally.
With protests and appeals still being fired off and everyone waiting anxiously to hear the verdicts, the embrace between Hamilton's father and newly-crowned world champion Verstappen served as a beautiful moment.
Anthony even gave Max's dad, Jos Verstappen, a hug too.

Another clip later surfaced on social media showing Lewis' father consoling him and whispering words of encouragement in his ear after the loss.
Remember, this is the same bloke who held down three jobs to ensure his own son could pursue his dream of driving in Formula 1.
Unfortunately for Lewis, his dream of clinching an eighth world championship will have to wait.
"Firstly, congratulations to Max and to his team," Hamilton told Sky Sports after the race.
