Lando Norris has crashed Daniel Ricciardo's latest interview in a move that proves their bromance is already alive and kicking.

The Formula One duo are set to link up in 2021 when they become teammates at McLaren, but their blossoming friendship off the track is quickly becoming the talk of the town.

Ricciardo's interview with Sky Sports reporter and former driver Jenson Button was interrupted by Norris as the two exchanged cheeky digs at each other over an incident that occurred at the British Grand Prix on the weekend.

Norris was overtaken by the Aussie with ease at Silverstone, but the Brit wasn't having a bar of it.

"I texted him during the week because he's trying to make it out like it's the best move of his career," Norris said.

"He makes it out like it's the best move of his career. Honestly, it wasn't even an overtake, I pretty much said 'please come past me Daniel'."

Ricciardo, who is currently with Renault, playfully replied: "Why'd you let me pass?"

To which Norris hilariously responded: "Because I was looking down at my dash."

The pair chuckled as Norris mimicked himself playing with the buttons on his dashboard.

But it was Ricciardo's final blow to the 20-year-old that really ended the debate.

"Kids mate, kids! Too busy playing with their video games I tell you," Ricciardo said.

Having just been schooled on live TV, Norris knocked Ricciardo's hat off his head before quickly scurrying from the scene - leaving Button and Ricciardo to laugh among themselves.
