Tyron Woodley Pays Fan $5k For Making The Best Meme Of Jake Paul KO

Despite getting knocked out by a YouTuber, Tyron Woodley has remained gracious in defeat.

In fact, he's not just extremely gracious, but the former UFC champion can also see the funny side of things too, so much so that he started a competition which would see him gift a fan $5,000 for making the best meme of his knockout.

And there was an easy winner.

In the wake of the demoralising defeat, social media users wasted no time in spitting out a bunch of hilarious memes which best summarised how the fight unfolded.

Surprise surprise, Woodley laying face down on the canvas was the butt of the jokes, although loads of other renditions were equally as funny.

Realising that he could use this to his advantage, Woodley acted fast and created the competition.

Not only did this make him look like an absolute boss for taking the loss on the chin, but it also gave internet sleuths the chance to put their creative juices to the test.

In the end, it was user Chris Ashley who came up trumps, earning himself $5,000 for his brilliant meme.

In the clip, Ashley uses some impressive CGI to make it looks like Woodley falls into the shadow realm after copping a huge overhand right to the chin.

He then makes a cameo appearance in the Finding Nemo movie before finally landing on a sofa alongside Ben Askren, Nate Robinson and Conor McGregor.

Woodley shared the video on his Instagram, captioning it: "Merry Christmas! Spread some love and do some good."

Speaking directly after the bout, Woodley insisted he didn't wanted any sympathy but admitted we should start viewing Jake Paul as a legitimate fighter.

"I'm not done. Please don't look at me with sorrowed eyes. Please do not look at me shaking your head," Woodley said.

"I done f**ked a lot of people up... At some point, we're gonna have to start putting a little respect on Jake's name.

"I never really disrespected him as a power puncher. That's something we always knew. That's why my defence was so tight. Had he dropped his hand on me, same s**t would've happened. I can't cry over spilled milk. I'm blessed to be here. I'm blessed for the opportunity to come out here and fight again to show you guys that I'm f**king still here."
